What To Expect During The Evaluation Process

Every individual is unique, which is why our evaluation process is thoroughly customized based on whether we are seeing a child, an adult, or a senior. However, every comprehensive assessment follows a structured, three-step framework:

Clinical Intake & History:

Step 1: Understanding Your Story.

We begin with an in-depth conversation about your medical history, current daily routines, and specific challenges. Most importantly, we discuss your personal goals—what activities do you or your child want and need to get back to doing?

Standardized & Functional Testing:

Step 2: Hands-On Assessment.

Our therapists conduct specialized, age-appropriate assessments. Depending on your needs, this may include evaluating fine/gross motor skills, sensory processing patterns, visual-motor integration, range of motion, cognitive functioning, or safety during daily living tasks.

The Collaborative Plan of Care

Step 3: Building the Strategy.

We translate our findings into a detailed evaluation report. We sit down with you to explain the data in plain language, establish objective, measurable goals, and outline a customized therapy schedule designed to achieve them.
